"Worship and Warfare" (Process of the Paraprosdokian Ep. 2)

This is episode 2 of: “The Process of the Paraprosdokian”, a podcast where I, Nathanael Philip Mosher, aka the Paraprosdokianist, go through my week and share with you how I patiently endured the pain of Life with the help of people in order to engage with my purpose, gain some perspective, and live to tell the tale.

Along the way I’ll share with you some life lessons, show you how you can prepare for lessons to come, live a life of sacrificial offering, teach those willing to listen, listen to those willing to teach, and hopefully discover some paraprosdokians. I know that’s a whole lot of words that start with ‘P’. Well, let me tell you, it’s all on ‘purpose’.

This week I focused a lot on the relationship between worship and spiritual warfare. This is the last episode of this format, which is more stream of consciousness. Starting next week I’ll be filming shorter episodes that focus more on specific topics/ subtopics.

In each episode I go over a variety of different things I’ve read, reflected upon, and written about and after each episode I’ll be publishing exclusively to Substack a list of said documents, as well as personal reflections I’ve done, that you can do yourself. I hope they help you create a life worth living.

As promised, here are the accompanying writings, readings, reflections, and resources which helped me make it on through to the other side.

Reflections:

Instructions: please make a copy for yourself before you fill this out. Then fill it out as you go with your own personal reflections. I recommend filling this out over the course of days, weeks, and even months if it so moves you so that you can really take the time to deliberate upon your answer and see how it changes over the course of time through prayer and application. Find what rhythms work for you, especially as you see it transform your day to day life while you apply it.
