I’m getting back on social media because it’s bigger than me now. God is calling me to build a platform for young men stranded out there without purpose so that I can be a fisher of men.
I spent the past four hours trying to figure out how to edit a video on Adobe Premiere using Auto Re-frame and then caption it on Capcut only to learn that it takes less than an hour once I deleted all the mistakes AI made. I was determined to get something out because I know that despite the higher levels of vulnerability, lower levels of true connection, yet tremendous opportunity for organic engagement, I had to get on Instagram and TikTok.
A year ago I started climbing up the Baldwin Hills Steps every day with the goal to be able to jog up the entire thing without stopping. It took me 6 months. In the process I lost 20 pounds and learned a whole lot about persistence and trust. I also got a job.
Sharing what God has revealed to me through the written and spoken word on as many different platforms as possible is another mountain I’m attempting to climb daily. Once I get up it without stopping there will be many more hills to climb. Then I’m going to help others get up the hill too.
Follow me on Instagram to get more clips. Soon I’ll be on TikTok and everywhere else. Here’s to many more to come.
@onelinerone will be my handle. As the young folks say, “Let’s get it.”
